Update 07.09.08
It's been a while since I posted new pics so here you go guys. First Jordan (racin4jc) and I built this box a few months ago. Next the motor toasted in june, keyway sheared off the crank gear and got out of time causing the pistons to kiss the valves. During that rebuild I got a 10,000 mile short block in it and a stage 2 NA cam from Ben at WOT Tech along with better valve springs and pushrods. Specs are 205.2/205.4 @ .050 duration, 264.6/264.6 @ .006 duration, .533/.533 lift. 110 LSA. Finally I bought some new rims from a member of 60*V6 but got screwed over. They are RSL Ikari wheels with Nitto Neo Gen tires in 215/35/18. He claimed everything was in great shape but when I got them one was dented, the other has a tire with 3/10ths of tread left and they all are flaking the coating. I lost the paypal dispute so I am stuck with them. It looks decent from 5 feet or more away but up close they are pretty dissappointing. Here are the pics, let me know what you guys think.

Oh crap, those wheels would look REALLY good on your car Ion.
Red, that sub box is cool! is it just me or does it look unfinished on the second pic?

Vin the unfinished looking part is on the edge of the trunk where the carpet pulled up a little. The wires still need to be hidden since I have been playing with it the past few days. Ion you can't have the wheels, but you can be jealous more, it makes me feel a little better since I got effed on the deal. Anyone know a place that repairs dents? The only issue I have is that the tires are too small and make the fender gaps look monstrous.

Well dont be too jealous cause I paid $700 for 4 wheels with flaking pcoat, one with a bald tire and one with a dent. Still want them? Ill sell em for $600 lol. Yalero the sub sounds pretty good. It could use some more volume but I think it is pretty good for a first time ever experience with glass and box building at the same time.

Not sure why you would complement them looking good on someone else's car that also has a red coupe with the same bodykit.............unless you have some kind of man-crush on Ion.....................then hey................................

Found pics of the damage to the pistons and of my shortblock before installation. The damage to the piston was minor and it all could have been reused but that is not the way I do things. The exhaust valves were all bent but I got a sweet deal from Germ on a full set of SI stainless valves for $200 and I got the shortblock from him for $250 and he threw the engine stand in for $50 and he taught me how to swap a cam for free. Now instead of a 3400 with 130,000 on it I have a short block with 10,000, freshly inspected heads with new valves, springs and pushrods. Its a nice feeling knowing I did all of it on my own, minus the head work.

In that time frame I might do that. You do realize that the one rim is dented pretty badly and one tire needs to be replaced? The only issue I see coming is that the tires on my stock rims are shot, so worn that they will not hold air so I would literally need money enough ahead of time to put tires on those before I could remove these. If that all sounds good then let me know when you got the cash. Honestly though I feel rather criminal selling these for that price the pictures do not do them justice, they are very ugly up close.

Lemme see the close ups and that dented rim. It's obviously not too bad if you're rolling on em. I know places around me that fix it cheap.
I found an old FS post on a Mitsubishi forum for those exact wheels, but in silver. Three tires were good, one was bad. Guy wanted $400 OBO on all four, wheels were in perfect condition. Since there's literally no place else to buy these rims, you're all I got, and $600 is what I'll have to spend. I'm going to have them powdercoated gunmetal pretty cheaply, so the paint condition doesn't matter to me...
Next two paychecks all funds after the essentials are paid for go to my engine rebuild/install cost. Next goes to these wheels.

Typical low-quality ADR wheels. The ones I have are all chipping, etc.. Not happy with them at all. If you get any, plan on getting them re-finished.

You're N/A if I'm not mistaken

I am NA, I am very happy with the cam. I am right near Germ so he helped me tune, the odd thing is that our previous tune from a year or more ago was so good that we did not change anything after we installed this cam. It ran like a champ right away. THe car will outrun my brother 05 GP GTP now. I have no track time or dyno numbers to help you but I have been satisfied. Ben at WOT Tech says you absolutely need to tune with the stage 2, stage 1 you can get away without be he does not reccomend it. With stage 2 you need the comp cams springs which cost around $250 from Ben, but iirc you don't have ported heads yet, you should look into those from him as well. You would see very nice gains then. Ben was guessing around a 20hp jump for me.
