i forgot if u connect yellow and red together or not. i have radio harness from car and after market cd player harness. and why doesnt my sony cd player have a illumination wire is that normal?

Blue is remote. blue/white is power antenna. I don't know how to wire them up properly but someone here must.

You gotta connect the RED wire on your CD player to the accessory ignition wire or a switch or something to turn it on, it doesn't work through the harness it's goofy.

Your sony might not have the dim/bright option w/ a wire and is just one brightness at all times, too. Is it a high class one or budget?
