New build
Well its been some time but myself (Basstronics) and a friend (Car Godz) will be uniting to put together a fairly large install for a customer. The funny thing about this customer is he works for a local mom & pop car audio store. So he can already get decent stuff and installs, but he wants something exceptional.
So without further ado:
What you see there is a 12" Blitz audio cheapie, a Elevation Audio Pro sub ($350- 30 Lb beast) and the 18" DC Audio Level 5 Carnage subwoofer. Weighing in at 90 Lbs.
This latest build will showcase my latest box construction design. Im fairly confident this idea is original and Ive never seen anything like it since Ive been doing audio since the mid 90's.

I can't wait to see the outcome, and in the first pic the reflection from the 18 looks like a ripple in the trunk....cool. What kind of vehicle is it going in?

Well I know you are going ported box? What you going to tune for I know it can get low right like 25 to 30hz at 4000 watts..its going to hurt? Good way to spend a grand though!

25 to 30 Hz? You crazy?
This is going to be 38-45 Hz area. That sub probably doest play that low.
We just got a Dayton Woofer Tester 3 to get T/S specs. This sub doesnt come with T/S specs as they are all custom one of's. I think this sub was $600...

There level 4 18 shows 28.9hz thought that one would hit around the same range. Wonder why they haven't posted any specs on it? If they are made to order I wonder what problems that present when trying to match two subs together. Oh well I can never see my self paying over a c note for a sub anyway...LOL!

20K WRMS for burps?
The MFG claims it will... If hes going to warranty it I doubt he would give an inaccurate number
We put over 2KWRMS into a sub that only handles 500 WRMS on burps before...

Ya I know.
For a sub of its size 20Kwrms isnt that outlandish.
The motor on it is bigger than some subs...
