a little experience but mostly noob

Struts:

Looked around on here and couldn't find a strut tutorial.

I ordered rear struts and a spring compressor, as well as a new lateral link for one that is bent. I have access to a lift and air tools (I think)

What do I need to know about the job? I know a bit about cars but never did struts before.

its not as hard as it looks. we took my struts off with a pair of vice grips and a crescent wrench.

EDIT: How does it become someone elses fault when your nuts itch?

Its sarcasm. People want to blame all of their problems on other people.

Its easy, just make sure to make the bolt holes for where the spindle joins the strut because they are slotted, if you do not do this your alignment will be way off. You will need an alignment anyway but this will make the drive to the shop more comfortable. Other than that all you will need is a good rust penetrator, I suggest PB Blaster, and some patience. It is a fairly cake job.

I swear by that stuff, it has saved me so many busted knuckles and bolts.
