how do u make this filter fit?

i ordered a 3pc cold air this summer and it always bohered me how tiny the cone filter is i didnt even know u could make them that small so i got a regular one and want to put it in but now i see why the one that came with intake was so small i dont see how to make the regular filter fit any suggestions on this? if its impossible i guess i can just shorten the cold air pipe to have the filter sit where the old bfilter box was but im assuming that defeats the purpose of a colr ait intake?

you pop out the fender liner and pull out the ton of plastic crap for teh stock air intake and then stick your filter on the end of the pipe in the fenderwell... it should fit

no lemme try that again the cold air intake tube is so long it hits the bumper and instead of facing the fog light it hits the side of my bumper leaving no room for a air filter to go make more sense sorry if i didnt say it right the first time.

played with it some more yea its just a shitty intake kit coulda been made way better if it was cut it would work to long is all. im gunna shorten it to just under the hood high as possible i took it apart found water in the intake tubing all the way to maf sensor :/ guess the people who posted on other threads its a gamble were right so ill kinda do half and half all aluminum pipe cone filter just under the hood instead of sitting on top.
