highlight colour
i just wanted some ideas of highlight colours for the inside of a beige alero. I would like to keep the inside theme the same as something i would eventually saint on the outside.
If people have time and wouldnt mind, some photoshopped pics would be nice too because i have no skills with that software yet.
Thanks.

i want to start with a colour theme on the inside first and then take it to the outside later when i have the money to spend on a full body paint job. Just looking for ideas right now.
Just to clarify interior is beige and exterior is gold right now but will change exterior colour later to go with interior colour scheme.

yeah i know but i just dont have the money to do a full paint job for a while.
Here are my long term plans though to give you an idea. I was thinking of painting the highlights black on the inside and then getting a custom black decal for the outside right now. Then when i get the money to do the paint job which i was thinking would be black on the outside i would be able to have the decal peeled off so then i would have the decal in the orginal gold paint. If that made any sense that is awesome because i have done all this on my cell phone. Lol. Thats why im doing it backwards right now, money. So any thoughts on any colours other than the black i was thinking of?

Yeah that would make sense. I think I might just get the decal now and then when it comes down to painting the entire car just have them take it off before they start painting it and tape it off like you said.
This is my first time doing anything special with a car because the last one I had was a 89 Pontiac Sunbird...4 cylinder....4 door....ouch, yeah I know.
So the outside is going to be black with the original gold paint decal like I explained before (again, when I get the money to do it)
So now that I got that taken care of for the outside what theme would go well other than black on beige for the inside?

eeeek...purple? I would have to try that on a little piece but that might look a little wierd.
blue might look good depending on the shade but white would make it a little too bright.
anyone with photo shop skills willing to throw together some picks?

If you look at my car, I almost have the same thing with black and gold. On my old interior everything was two toned from gloss black and flat black. For example top quarter interior would be gloss, lower would be flat, same with door etc. etc.. And all the vents and accessories like radio bezel were color matched to my exteriors gold. Looked cool until I ripped it all out

So since there haven't been many other ideas for colours, I think I'm gonna go with my original plan and just do a reverse of the exterior for the interior.
Outside - Black paint job with a custom decal in original gold paint
Inside - Beige with black highlights (radio trim, vents, door handles and cubbies, handle on glove box) and get my mom to help me out with some custom seat covers (Black with Gold piping).
Now the only question is should I go matte black or gloss black for the interior and can this be done properly at home or should I pay someone to do it?
Thanks for the input so far guys

I was actually talking about Richie's car... back when the interior was white and blue and complete, but the exterior was beige with primer parts from shaving it, lol.
