If i put the headlights in the freezer for a little while will that decrease the waiting time after I have completed the job and put the lights back together. I put them in the freezer to try and get some of the old silicone off but that didn't help me get it off. It seemed to make it stick more. So that's why i'm asking if this would work.

I have never seen this question asked or answered but if somebody else has please put up the link to that thread.

making the silicone cold would make it harder, so if you heat it it makes it warm, and melty so therefore a hairdryer or heat gun would work better....

I actually had better luck getting it off after putting it inthe freezer

I belive diffrent years used diffrent silicone....thus, mixed results.
