impala 3rd brake light
well i had searched before and it was said that the led 3rd brake light from an impala would fit the alero, and that a couple people had done the mod. anyway, i picked one up for pretty cheap, and there is no way it will fit in the spot it needs to fit in. did you who did it just swap out the little led board thing and make it fit in the alero housing? if someone could let me know what i have to do to get it to work that would be great. thanks.

Well actually when atomosphere and I did that we sanded down one of the sides of the board so that it would fit all the way down into the bottom of the alero housing. When i say we sanded it, we did it by hand so it was very minor, we then used a hot glue gun to hold it into place.
