Small bulbs in the gauge cluster.

I know the gauge cluster has five type 194 bulbs in it, as I've already replaced mine with LEDs, and it looks awesome. However, I am wondering wht type those smaller ones are, as in the ones that light the "Cruis control" on indicator, "ABS" indicator, and such. I want to see if I can replace these with LEDs as well, but I have no idea what type they are. If anyone knows, could you please let me know??

Thanks.

i know many of them can be removed.. i'd assume its 12V like the larger ones. I gotta take a look at the circuit board (luckily i have a spare)

if anything a 3mm replacement would work. I'll give you a more definitive answer in a few days. (when i have time to check it out/test it)

after taking a quick look... they are definitely the twist lock base, bulbs... but bigger then the neo-3 that fit in to the doors switches.

from interlock to interlock is 1.3mm and from the outside of the base, to the other edge, is 1.4mm.

by my measurements.. on www.superbrightleds.com you'd be buying...
B8.7D Twist Lock lamp

but i'm emailing the company... their measurements seem to be off on the schematics. I think its just a typo. They have it as 13mm wide. which is ridiculously large. Maybe its just me... i could be reading it wrong.

I'll report back with the answer... if there is one.

i got word back, that their measurments are accurate... but i don't think they are.

still... i'd vote for the one i posted. but if you want to be sure, order a few of a few different sizes, and you'll be the test monkey.

Okay, here is the socket you suggested Cherri:

Here is one picture of the actual light taken out of my dash:

And here is another shot of it:

It LOOKS like the one you suggested should work. It looks a little longer, butt hat won't be a problem. I just don't want to order a bunch and then they don't fit. Also, if I want to choose my own colour, (ie Blue) for all the LEDs, I'd have to do some surgery on the gauge cluster to remove the coloured lenses or whatever is used to colour the lights. Hmmmmmmmmmm

about the surgery... i don't know... i haven't look at changing those bulbs.

After remeasuring... its 13mm not 1.3. (my dumbass can't read a metric ruler anymore)

and looking at the measurements on the bulbs... i can't see any that match up great. I honestly don't know. According to their website, the standard twistlock base (the full sized ones we use) are 13mm. and these certainly aren't that size.
