How to install CAI on 3.4

I seen a link posted before to instructions on install a CAI in the 3.4, anyone know where thats at?

Umm, basically remove all the old stuff.. make sure to plug sensors/vacuum hoses back into the intake tubing holes, and make sure the clamps are tight.. it's nothing too difficult.

IDK where the link is but it's not hard.

Remove stock airbox and plastic tubing. Airbox is held in by 3 bolts (could be 4 it's been a while) and then lifts right out. The tubing is press fit.

Use the couplers on the TB, MAF, and the chrome piping. Please do away with the accordin piece.

Put the CAI pipe down in the hole, turn wheels to the left. Remove fender liner, and put filter on the end of the pipe. The fender liner is held in by a bunch of 10mm bolts and 3 body pins. If you remove the headlight you can push the fender liner from the inside to remove the body pins

I got it all done... My main issue was that the MAF was almost to far away for the plug to reach, but I gave the wire some slack by adjusting the clamp holding the wiring harness, and it fits fine. The filter they gave me was a son of a bitch to get on, but I got it.

I used this link for the install, which didn't help that much because it's not exactly the same.

Ive been wanting to do this, my question is short pipe with filter on top or long pipe with filer in wheel well. Whats the difference in performance?

and i've been taking the wheel off everytime i change the filter.... lmao

i would have to say filter in the wheel well= cooler air less heat= better for performance
