Big problem, help please?
Okay, so every time i remove my headlights i have problems with my HID's.
I have the DDM Slim kit, but i removed one headlight to paint bezels and clear cornered, so u put that one back in and my HID wont come up, My other headlight which i did not remove came on for a little while, but then flickered out and my high beams came on. So I turned car off, checked fuses, and the 51 mini fuse poped ( Left headlamp) so i replaced it with a 20. So i turn headlights setting on ON (off of auto) and it pops again So i checked rest in box and they are good. When i turn my car off and my headlights are on AUTO then i have a winding noise untill my auto headlights click off. This has happened before ad all i had to do was change out the fuse and it worked, there also was no winding noise. this time it just wont work again, so im thinking it might be the relay spot ( 20 AUTO HDLPC CTRL) because when i press on this relay you can tell its the one making noise. NOTE: yes i do know the plug in for HID's on Oldsmobile is backwards in the headlight shell.
Can anyone help me out?

Weird. Im not very good with hids yet I do have a set. (Had em bout 2 weeks now) I've got a 35w 8000k slim hid kit. And I reversed the plugs at the ballast. Not the plug inside of the headlamp if that's where you did it from what I understand above.
Now idk if that would affect anything or not but Just an idea.

is the plug coming from the headlight assembly its self for the stock bulb melted at all? mine was and it caused those same exact symptoms. doesn't affect the halogens for some reason.

Ttop191 - ^ because your car is the only thing that will suck and blow that you can actually successfully get within 25 feet of

Did you disable your DRLs? Was this during the day or night?

Mine has been doing odd things once in a while too. My driver's side doesn't click on all the time. Sometimes I have to go back down to parking lights, wait a mintue or two.. then go back to AUTO for it to click on.
I'm thinking I'm going to get the delayed relay wiring for it, see if that helps some.

Another thought, when you start your car, maybe turn the switch to DRLs before starting it, then once it's running switch to headlights or auto.

i think i messed up my headlights while doing my clear corners/ paint bezels project. I have a spare passenger side headlight, and i pluged it in, and it works fine. So i think im just going to buy another driver side headlight, must be something internal.
