Finally went HID
put 10000K in the lows and the fogs...don't really get to much fog here so I wasn't really worried about the functionality.
here is a comparo of the Silverstar Ultra's VS The HID
and a shot of the lows and fogs

I love my HID's on the Bravada. It's great driving down the road and have people flash their high beams at you. Then it's like KACHOW MO-FO!!!!

DDM tuning is the way to go. cheap and well made. Slim kits only though. Never buy off ebay.

correct me if I'm wrong weber, but I believe he meant that it was 140 JUST for the shipping.

lol....no. I live in Ohio now but i was back in NY when i got the HIDs. The price for BOTH headlights and fogs was about 240 i think.....IDR it was a while ago. Just trying to say that if it was that cheap for 2 sets of hids then i dont think their gonna last that long lol. IDK though.....just my opinion

I sell DDM's here in alaska and 8 months with no problems. Before I rolled my jeep I had DDM's on there for 2 years, now the ballasts off my jeep are in my alero.

I bought 8K for all my lights, $112 for all. Haven't put them in yet. I think the 10K's are too blue for me. I've bought HID's off ebay and never a problem. I have them in my truck right now and they're great. As for people flashing high beams, that means you should lower the aim a bit. It's not "kachow Mo Fo", it's inconsiderate. It's attitudes like yours why states are trying to pass laws against hid's unless they came stock.

People driving around with HIDs that don't have projector lenses are just blinding people

iv adjusted mine down quite a bit, people still flash me, iv even had one guy do it during the day. I never bother to flash back, the brights typically aren't warmed up, and when they are I know id just blind the hell out of them. what really gets me is the people that clearly see you switch to dims and still have nerve to flash. I have the 55w kits for them at 10k so they clearly look aftermarket, i would have thought people would get the idea... but yes, DDM all the way, the harnesses I've also found out are a good investment when you live out in the country and have to switch to brights, they warm up faster, and for the dims its helps the drls a lot.

Some people don't realize what aftermarket is since they just don't care about cars at all. They just see really bright light that's brighter than normal cars and that bothers them. Hence why they flash you bc they think your brights are on.
