well I have 100,000 KM on it so around 65,000 miles. I have put around 30,000 on my car. Sometimes my temp gauge well get up around 3/4 but most of the time stays just above half.

my car never has never gone up around 3/4. if i let it sit for an extended amount of time it will go a needle width above half but usually it stays either right at half or just below. the main reason i got mine flushed was because i didnt like the color of the coolant. it looked dirty to me.

our cars use dexcool coolant. which is good for 100,000 miles.

ok cool good to know. Something I never thought about.

One thing I have found is sometimes my coolant level well drop right down super fast over a matter of a day. No marks on the driveway so it didn't leave my car. Took a black light under the hood and nothing. Anyone think of why this would happen?

Youngblood77 is an unknown quantity at this point
Lower intake manifold leak. <_< Pull the cap off the coolant res. and see if the coolant has a crap-color to it. Is there a sludge substance on the bottom of the cap? Check the oil: does it look foamy @ all? No matter what the outcome: If you're SURE the coolant didn't leave the engine, CHANGE THE OIL. Coolant getting into the motor and mixing with the oil will "spin" bottom-end bearings in no time.
