Thumbs up

My stock CD player has played it's last CD. The radio works fine. I like the feature on the stock radio that displays the artist and song that's playing, in addition to the station. Does anyone know of aftermarket radios with MP3 CD player, that also have this display?

Look for one that says cd text. This means that it will display the cd info if it is recorded onto the cd. Most newer cd players have this and I believe all mp3 players should. What few aftermarket players have is the ability to show FM station names and information. This seems to be a option that few aftermarkets have gone with.

i believe what he's talking about is "RDS" it picks up the radio stations information, song, stuff like that. its pretty sweet i think. "cd text" is much more common, picks up the names of the songs for cd's

Exactly, not the CD info, but the station, artist & song being played on the radio station.
