Ok so I went to a hardware store last night, this is my idea, you ever see the venting in a nissan maxima or audi tt, they are spin dial venting, VERY easy to do, some 2' pvc, slotted then aluminum vent fins locked in, a 2' chrome bezel cap, you only need about 10degrees movement to adjust the direction of flow, with a straigh piece of pipe, and a 45 off of that with a screw adapter you can get the movement without screwing or unscrewing the screw, now I know the pipe isnt gonna fit nice inside the existing vent, both on the dash ind connection to the heat ducting itseld, for the dash part I was thinging of fine wire mesh whit white silicon to hold it in, as for the proper connection to the heat ducting inside the dash, what do ya think duct tape is for, the problem i am having is that you will be able to see through the mesh into the dash, and that's ugly, I could double it up but I think to much of the wire mesh is gonna look tacky, (this is to fill the gaps around the 2' ) as for my foglight and dimmer switch that can easily be moved to the useless little cubby holder thing just below.
So I am still wondering about the mesh, or fibregalssing a piece to fit or possibly white aluminum, I dunno
Feedback!!!
