But i'm not sure if I want to get red neons or leds. Because I want it to stay red while I drive too but I so I guess I would need neons too. But yea im pretty much a big car newbie so yea just any help would be great.

well, he's also talking about lights that are running while he would be driving, he would most likely tap into the cubby hole light for this. I too have been debating this same question and i think im going to go with LED's beause they draw less power and are supposed to have more like, you can find them on e-bay for fairly cheap, any questions, just ask

find a good set of red neons, honestly i wish i could set you up with a good pair, but it's a hard color to get light out of it seems. Hunt around and you'll find a good set, you can check out oznium for the red but i'm not sure if they're as red as you'd like, sometime more pink

LEDS vs Neons. a very ez pick actually.
Neons: not weather ready and don't hold up well on bad roads. the cold weather will kill neons especially if a rock hits them when cold.
LEDS: twice as bright as neons and give a more true color. Also, they are very flexible and less fragile. Have more effects than neons.

if its undercarriage lights u guys are talking about, i had my underbodies on my alero for over two years and not one problem. they are OPTX by streetglow neon tubes. always bright, even in winter. still on the car now so its going on three years

Yeah, I ordered black light cathodes on friday. If you go to Ozniums forums there probably are some instructions there.
