So I was searching the MSD website for any info on a kit for the 3400 motor....and I stumbled across the "new 2005 line" page and foud this:

These are the 8.5mm Super Conductors! I went on Summit Racing and typed in the part number in the search and they have the kit for $57.88. I just purchased a set for a grand total of $66.83 after handling charges. That's awesome because Dr. Speed website has them for like $79.99 and they're outta stock. Talk about a killer find!

notice any differance?

they're getting put on when i get my headers put on...Monday the 9th....I definitly WONT be able to tell you if there's a difference from the plug wires alone because I'm getting all this put on:

Headers
High Flow Cat
62mm TB
Brand New K&N Inverted Top Filter
MSD 8.5mm Wires

But I'm sure it's worth the $55 I spent....60,000 miles and never have they been changed....I just had some NGK Plugs put in about 2 weeks ago too

hey would these work on my '99? it says '00 to '04 but it also said grand am, so do you know if they would fit on my '99 alero?

If you have the 3400SFI V6 motor...it SHOULD...i can't give you a 100% guarantee though. But I'd say a good 95% chance it should.

whats the difference from the 99-2000 engine?

summit seems to be cheapest price just fyi, tryed asking one of the places listen on msd site for retail buys but they said like 79$ got it on summit for 66 shipped
