I haven't had my Falken's long enough to see how they wear, but the bf's brother had 'em for a while and liked 'em. My mom's Jag came with Pirellis, and she didn't like them, no grip in the rain.

That is just way too broad of a generalization. I have tires by a little-known company called Sumitomo. I can't say enough how much I like the tires. They seem to stick very well in all weather, have excellent tread life, and seem very high quality.

I would definately buy them again. I have had BF and Mich on my buick, and they were ok too...

I agree totally! I think it would be down to personal choice.
I run Toyo Proxes FZ4's. I think they're great. They do only have a 280 tread wear though. They're V speed rated(faster than the car will go).
My next tires will probably be the Kumho 711's. H rated with a 320 tread wear.
I do have about 40K on the Toyo's wich is good for a performance tire IMHO.

Great tires and cost about half to a quarter of some other high performacne tires, and they are better too

Pirelli, Michelin, Bridgestone, BF Goodrich, Dunlop, Yokohama, Continental, Toyo, Kumho, Goodyear, Sumitomo, Cooper, Hoosier, Falken, Firestone, pretty much in that order, all good tire companies, first couple names would be the best, but each company makes some very nice tires(and all of course have a top of the line model)

My choice for best tires on the market: Bridestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions
Closely followed by: Toyo Proxes
Dunlop SP Sport 9000
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
Michelin Pilot Sport
Pirelli PZero Nero
BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2
Yokohama Parada

Like its been said, its all opinion really. But I know most of these from family experience and from friend's experience
