Nope, but when I push the lock button on my door, there used to be a 'ding ding ding' and then 20 seconds after the doors were closed the horn would honk and the doors would lock...... now there's no dings but the horn still honks and the doors still lock... I liked having the reminder dings.

Programmable Horn Chirp
from page 2-13 of Owner's Manual
When you use the remote keyless entry transmitter to lock the doors or use the delayed locking feature the parking lamps will flash and the horn will chirp.
The programmable horn chirp can be disabled by pressing and holding either of the door lock switches in the unlock position for 10-seconds with the ignition key ON and all of the doors closed. When you hear the horn chirp, programming is complete.
To reactivate the horn chirp feature, repeat the above procedure.

smlz, do you have an aftermarket radio? If so, you loose some of your warning chimes unless you incorporate the factory radio back into the system somewhere. I think there is a harness or device you can get to bypass having to actually put the stock radio in somewhere, but it's too late and I can't think of it at the moment.
Might look at the Programming Power Door Locks FAQ to see if that will fix it.

My '01 use to do this honk after locking up the car. I turned it off just to try it out and when i went back to set it back to the honk, it won't do it. I even went thru the manual a few times--same result.
