umm yeah, worked for a couple hours today, it is a start.....
yes it isn't really close to the 442 alero hood at all, i actually just used real 442 hood pics as a reference.....
damn, sorry the pic sucks ass, when i downsized it got all messed up......

they are about the same height as the real 442 hood scoops, but i cut them down width and length wise to fit the alero hood, yeah they do seem a little tall, but i like em

Couple other angles would be nice. Did you put those on a CF hood or does it just like CF in the pic?

lol no.....if it was concrete that hood would be f***ing bending like crazy.....the hood only weighs like 5 lbs...........actually the scoops are styrofoam for right now......

IMO: have them slant down going to the back, and cut down on the height just a little. Seriously, copy the GM-produced Alero 442 hood, minus the little wing schits on the front edge of the scoop.

yes, it will be, and i have been considering cutting down on height a tad, and no after lots of thinking, i would rather go with a real 442 hood style instead of the 442 alero, plus the striping on the 442 alero was all f***ed up, so it will be easier for paint as well with real 442 style scoops.....

will definitely look old school. chop them down to the intrigue 442 hood size and you should have a good retro style 442 hood.
