Call them. The search function doesn't seem to work that great.

if that was sarcasm, thanks a lot and i found the search button rather useless. all i found was the link to summit racing and that the springs were less sporty than the eibachs and tend to settle a lot more than the eibachs. that's why i was hoping to get the reply of somebody who had bought them from summit and could tell me what application they bought them for.

Actually, I meant the search feature on Summit's site.

Check out this thread:

Summit's part # for our springs is INT-25-1-016 (for 99+ Grand Am)

Intrax's part # is 07-001. Make sure to check that after you get them, like Molson says...

INT-25-1-040

This is the part number for Alero's. Just ordered them about a month ago and they are now installed. Had to go through customer support to get them.

wc_alero, do they have the same 2" drop as advertised for other cars? did you get aftermarket struts because i've heard that a 2" drop with factory struts will result in a strut through the hood. if so, what'd you get? almost everyone on here has kyb g-2s but i've heard that they're not all that great. i want something that improves handling without sacrificing a ton of ride quality and isn't extremely expensive. how limited are we alero owners on our strut choices?

I have intrax on stock struts, and no one I know of has had them break on them. In fact, many say that the springs on stock struts feel better than on the KYB's. If you have a lot of miles, though, you should get the KYB's.

My car had 40,000 miles on it and I decided to get KYB gas struts as well as the springs. I just had them installed last wednesday and havent measured to see how much drop I actually got out of them. I dont think the ride is bad at all.
