Horn Problems

The horn on my 99 alero is stuck on. The relay under the hood is ok, the connector to the horn id getting a constant 12 volts. I can get it to go off for 1/2 second when I push on the horn button.
what could be causing the problem?

I had the same issue with my 03 at 10k miles. The dealership had to replace the airbag because the horn contacts were screwed up and they are made into the airbag itself. I am sure that is the only fix for you also. I would say look in a junk yard because they are very expensive new.
