Anybody that's interested in sound deadening their car (which you should be, even if you aren't into car audio) should definitely check this out:

eD is discontinuing their eDead v1 deadening and is selling it for hella cheap: $.60/sq. ft. Details are here: http://tinyurl.com/zgl87 (icixsound link)

It's not the best deadener out there, but is definitely a viable solution at this price - I just ordered 160 ft^2 of it and with shipping it was $125.

They ship fast too:

Same day out, 3 day shipping on ~60 lbs.
For all the crap they get on some forums, Ben and them over there at eD are good people

Double those numbers for Edead version one. It has very little deadening characteristics. This is the cheapest I have seen it on the net, but only by about twenty dollars. Not many people have been fond of it, causing some serious drops in price. For this price range, it is worth investing in. Even though you realy need two to three coats to be affective. At MSRP, it is worthless. I lined my trunk and floor with this a few months ago. When I get the money, I will be purchasing more line the trunk again. I just suggest dynamat extreme for the interior. One layor does a decent job and most importantly, it doesn't stink. Edead has a very strong tar odor that overwhelms the interior. Ok for the trunk, but not exceptable for the inside. I recently refinished my doors and placed dynamat extreme on the inside. Even off ebay it was expensive, but it was worth it. conclusions, use Edead on the trunk and save money. Just be prepared to buy twice the recomended amount. Stick with dynamat extreme or wait for Edeads butyl products for the iterior. Just my two cents.

Odd that you have smell issues - I have my doors fully done with v1 and in Texas summer heat have never had any smell problems - it made a dramatic difference in cabin noise as well. Have two gallons of v3 sitting here too that I need to do something with.

I've heard really good things about raamat and second skin as well and was going to try them at some point, but at .60/sq. ft. I couldn't pass up this deal.

Yeah I was going to say.. dynamat extremem.. yikes!! Maybe if I won the lottery, or they wanted to sponsor me.

raammat is a very good choice. Rick is a great guy to deal with.
