Check Engine Light On

Well for a while now my alero has been hard to fill up with gas. It wants to keep kicking the pump off like the gas tank has too much pressure in it and wont let the gas in. So i have to slowly pump gas into it. Anyways i scanned the code and came up with a P0446 Evap emission control system vent circuit malfunction. I had a similar code like this before it was something about the evap vent and i found that the vent tube coming out of the tank was clogged with mud. But i fixed that problem about 15k ago and the light never came on after that but still was hard to fill up with gas. Maybe u guys can give me some advice before i look into the situation.

the tank has nothing to do with gas not flowing

the filler neck does though. And i know how to fill up my car too i don't need your smart comments. So your saying there isn't a problem u should have to have the gas pump on the lowest setting to fill your car up no i don't think so.

what's going to stop the gas from flowing? nothing. The only way you could have a problem is if the filler neck was somehow blocked off completely to the point where gas back up pressure was hitting the pump and shutting it off.

Last I recall gas pumps didn't have settings, it's about as complicated as a nozzle on a garden hose.
