^^????????? No, that wasn't sarcasm at all, bud so don't take offense. It's just alot of people who install the kit don't bother to smooth out that "stuck the top of an Alero bumper to an aftermarket bumper" line. Just saying that when ya do it, don't half step on that area

It shouldn't be too hard to install yourself, unless you're looking the mold it in

do your self a favor and let the shop install the kit too, what if there is a issue even after paint, then you would have to have it repainted again
so why not let the shop do the eniter kit to save your own ass in the long run

Are you retarded?? How is painting not body work...most body people i know do painting as well, unless they are specialist like metal working or fiberglass

Because it is not.. most body shops do paint, but u r not modifying the body... in reality, no it is not body work. ur not modifying the 'body of ur car' if u r painting it. Painting is a cosmetic, almost an accessory. Wow i love when kids try to argue...

wow. can someone please just help this person out instead of giving them a hard time? lol
(all numbers are from my own experience!)
if you were to fit the kit on yourself, it will cost about 400 to get sprayed.
if you would like it to be fit by a professional, and painted, you're looking at 900.
i took my time to fit my kit, and it turned out really well for me. it was my first time working with fiberglass, as well as doing bodywork. however, i'm very handy and have a good eye. i can't say how it will turn out for you, but if you have any worries, you might want to make friends with a body guy somewhere and have them do it, or help you. my buddy helped me do mine, but his hands never touched the car. so, i got as much experience as i could, with some novice help.

You're an idiot. Most body people paint also and it is "body work" because you have to sand and fix dents/scratches/holes when you paint, well if you do it right. And who is a kid
DOnt be a tool

most people who do body work also paint.

ive never come across a "body shop" that doesnt do paint. "body shop" is a generic term
