haha ... yea compared to that go cart ... it reached like 90+mph in less than 1100 feet. That cart would just keep accelerating too since it is powered by a jet engine. I need to find the video of another cart with a F-16 JFS in it (same type of jet engine it just produces about 220 hp @ roughly 60,000rpm)
and here is the GPS data from that day ...
http://www.turbokart.com/images/turbokartII/z_gps2.JPG
EDIT: I just did the conversion so I guess in that distance it topped out at 81 mph.

actually it is supposed to be an embedded video ... there should be no link ... but yea it doesnt work.
EDIT: The video will not work that way since posting of HTML coding has been turned off for this section of the forums (probably the whole forums too!) Use this link if ya wish to view the video ... http://www.break.com/index/how_not_t...a_go_cart.html

Ever Heart Of KartVader? That guy is insane. He ride his Kart during the night in the streets of Quebec City at 170 km/h. He flamed some police road block already.

i can't believe they pitch a dvd at the end of that video. who would buy that!? you get to hear a high pitched engine for about an hour! YIPPEE!
as for the turbo kart... duh. just look at the power to weight ratio. of course the ferarri will lose... same basis behind the ariel atom aka "grown up go-kart"
