Gauge Pods

Well when i used to own my zx2 i found this tutorial about making gauge pods and basicly i have a few questions,

http://teamzx2.com/index.php/topic,18027.0.html

1. can the same concept be used for an alero (i dont see why not just checking)
2. How hard is fiber glass to work with with this kind of thing? I think the first part with making the base dosent look hard but is the second part with the felt really difficult?
3. How do you get the A pillar off our cars?
4. what gauges would you reccomend for the pods, btw i want to do 3 pods, i dotn need a boost gauge, a water seems ok but theres one in the cluster.

and any hints tips or advise on using fiberglass would be awesome.

yeah its real easy the hardest part would be spreading the fiberglass smoothly in time before it gets hard

You mention taking the A-pillar off. If you're going to attempt to make 3 pods on the A-pillar, you may want to buy one that's already made. You can get them at PFYC and they come in the same color as your interior already. Here's a link: http://www.pfyc.com/pc/GA2002/ALINT/...+Am-Alero.html.
