2000 Navigator stock radio
My buddy at work is having problems with his stock radio in his navigator.
He showed me the way it's in there, and wants me swap it for him.
Looks like a bitch, any insight on thius project. Stock for stock

It's the same radio for the Expedition
After you take the bezel off, I see 4 to 6 bolts, the guy tried pulling all of them out and the radio wouldn't budge, It had a CD slave unit just under the head unit and both look like they are on the same plate. Do you need that Ford radio removal tool?

Everything is the same on mine but I have a 6 disk changer. The CD intake is right above the screen and bass, treb keys. It on;y had 4 bolts and it ccame right out.

Never mind it is different. Ford makes removal keys for those. Those 4 little holes that are in the unit itself hole it in. You still have to take the dash panel off though. http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/FLM/PDF/356017.pdf

Yeah I changed out a few of those radios in are company trucks, I broke those little clips that hold it in the dash before i fingered out how they came out the right way. You can use paper clips to do it though.
