Maf

while i was working on my custom CAI set up, i was looking at the MAF, and noticed that the wire screen seems rater.. um.. restrictive. Is there a higher performance one that i could get to compliment my new set up.

as far as i know.. there isn't. removing or damaging that screen results in rough idle.

its not as restrictive as you think... its important. don't touch it.

i've been running without my screen for over a yr with no changes in performance or idle, there are other maf sensors you can buy, granatelly and pro m, quite a few guys including BlackJack and myself in the near future are running an ls1 maf. so there are options, but changing the size of your maf on a stock motor is senseless.

+1 ^^ no need to change the maf unless your goign for a fully built NA setup or boost. the MAF works just fine the screen restricts nothing but large elements......
