Alero Rims

What are the lightest rims you can buy...at a fairly reasonable price?
Is there a site that lists wheel weights....I want to buy some rims that are a lot lighter than the alero stock aluminum wheels?

Thanks guys

I was still thinking aluminum...unless the advantage is not that much. Otherwise, I would probablly go with carbon fiber....looks good

carbon fiber rims = 7-10 grand on rims..... me im personally looking for some light weight 17's becuase i got some heavy ass 18's but i would like light weight 17's when im in the race mood or for winters.

but nice aluminums weighing under 20lbs each would be nice and usually they arent too expensive because they will be a simple design in a simple color such as silver

So, how much do stock alero aluminum wheels weigh, and is there a site that lists wheel weights?

Usually the lightest aluminum wheels you can get are around 15-17 lbs. You can get the Enkei RPF1 in a 17" that weighs in at just about 16 lbs.

you just need to be really proactive about your wheel search (2hrs a night on the internet doing research) and you will come upon something that will work for you budget range, i did and absolutely love my new rims, also make sure you know the specs of the alero rims and how everything will fit, otherwise you'll get something with something that won't fit well.......

my purchase (original thread is here) http://www.aleromod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16598

Weds Sports TC-005
SSF construction (same process SSR and RH uses)
light grey pained
17x8
+32 offset
just under 16lbs apiece
got all four shipped to my house for $758.08 !!!
