Help With Aftermarket deck

Hey i have just purchaes at pioneer dvd head unit AVH-P4900DVD And Evryone tells me differnt shit that u need a 150 doller wire harnees with chimes and stuff peole say dont. well my qeustion
if i get the 50 doller one without the chimes do i have to mount the stock one in trunk or some where or it wikl work without any trouble help asap

Unless you want to keep the chimes I dont thin you need to remount in the trunk or get the expensive harness.

Well what wireharness do i Need Like im soo confused right now and i just got this dvd deck. Have subs type s speakers just OMG stupied wireharness!

Depends on the year.

Mines a 2000 and I can use just a $12 harness.

However I use no harness as I only run the power wires and ground.

mine is 2001 alero 2.4 monsoon amp? Help me please. And i dont want to reloacade my stock anywhere i need it out completely. Im Geting a 15" L7 kicker. And the box is going to be pritty much the hole drunk.
