intake question
okay...i am in the middle of installing my new intake and i realized that the temp sensor is in the wrong spot ....i came back only to find that you are supposed to drill a hole in a different spot ...but what do i plug in the other hole?...or has anyone ever plugged it into the original spot?
and how do i get the old temp sensor out of the old intake?
p.s. i have no car to go anywhere atm

"wrong spot"? put it wherever you want..
it either just pulls out of the stock intake or has a little clip, look at it.

You could just cover the hole in eletrical tape so you can go out and get the correct item

Well how big's the hole?
You could drive to Advanced, take the intake off, and show them. If it's a good one, they'll be able to help you out big time
Plus eletrical tape, if only on for a short time, esp in underhood temps, won't leave a mark, but be sure to put a lot on. Wrap around the entire tube once should be good

i went to the hardware store and picked sum black rubber o rings put the sensor through the whole and placed an o ring as far up on the sensor as you can on the inside, and did the same for the top outside. it will hold steady and won't allow any air to seep out.

Do the rubber fitting. Try to stay away from RTV if you can

I had the same problem... the hole was too far away... so i just simply cut the sensor wire, took some longer wire and extended it (soldered the ends and ect.) and the problem was solved took about 5 mins to do it :P
