since the interior never changed any year will work for you as long as you select the right body style, 2dr or 4dr.

I think jackal means that you can get any year door panel.. its going to fit your car because during the years that the alero was produced, very little was changed..

only changes made on Alero's as per model years (as far as I know):
rims
rocker panels (side skirts, whatever) 1999 had different ones than 2000+)
4-banger engine in 2002 when they switched from 2.4L Twin Cam to 2.2 ecotec.
and the V6 computer from 1999 to 2000
so doors will work for you.

There were some minor other changes.... such as 99's having headlight plastic covers in the engine bay.

ok i think everyone is confused i dont know how to word this properly. when ordering inside door panels there are to kinds. one for power windows which has a hole for power window switch or one for manual windows which would have a big hole in the middle of the door panel for the manual handle. those are two total different door panels but when you go to order a door panel there is only one option why?

Well, if you give them your VIN to order from then they're only going to show you the ones that fit your car.. There's about 5 different door panels per body style.
