don't get any color grille...plain metal (which is either stainless steel or aluminim) will be best if you do it at all.

black grilles can look decent on darker cars (like if my maroon car had dark rims/accents then maybe) but yours, stick w/ silver/aluminum

^^ WOW you only paid $40. Mine was $70 but the sheet wasn't that tall either.
Of course I bought it back in 2001. It's a "little Circle" pattern.
Don't do gutter mesh, looks ricey, IMO but if you do, paint it with rust-o-lem

I got it at a local speed shop. I totally forget the name brand of the mesh
I love it actually. I painted mine white.
Don't spend $40 for it on eBay, unless you're sure it's not gutter mesh

Here's a close up of mine.
Keep in mind, this pic was taken in 2003 during my divorce. I really didn't take that good care of the car then

"Real" grille mesh looks exactly like gutter guards...
And gutter guards are typically stainless steel or aluminum. It doesn't rust, like you always say.
However, I'd REALLY like the mesh they use in the new Cadillac CTS-V's grille. That shit's high qual.

standard plastic gutter mesh comes in a roll at most hardware stores and only costs about $10. I bought it and then hit it with some duplicolor chrome paint. it looks awsome and is ridiculously easy to cut and install (clear zip tie work best and if places properly are essentially invisible). total cost was about $17 canadian.
