Suspension Test (Springs)
Sometime, probably in the summer, 2009, I want to do a suspension test for every one, unless its been done before, my Alero is the 2.4, LD9. It’s about stock, accept for a WAI, with factory 15" steel rims, and Falken All season tires, I just don't know all the brands of springs, before I discover this site I only knew of Eibach springs, So I'm wondering what every one has, wants, and wonders about, and what ones I should test. Then I need categories, so far I have Ride height, Ride comfort, 0-60, 60-0,and price, I don’t have anything sweet like a skid pad or a dyno, just me my friend, a garage, and allot of open road. The cost is gonna be thar killer, thats why I'm thinking summer, so I have time to build funds. So any suggestions would be rather helpful. Thanks!

Also, I will visit each manufacture site and see what they have to say, if I can get any info out of them.

you don't need to do a test, mfuller has already tested just about every combo possible.........maybe he could do a quick write up to be stickied with the suspension area.........

i never said mfuller should moderate, he is way too busy for that, just that maybe he could do a writeup to be stickied because he has tried just about every suspension possible, therefore, this original thread post about testing different setups doesn't need to happen.......

Unless you know someone on the inside, or actually ship springs off to a suspension shop to be tested, don't waste your time trying to get spring rates......the manufacturers will only say "x% stiffer than stock".
I'll do a writeup one of these days on the 1/2 dozen or so combinations I've tried.......but I haven't tried 'em all.
