Removing (and replacing) emblems

I've seen this asked a few times but I've yet to find a straight answer: is it possible to replace emblems if you were to sell the car back to a dealership?

I've been told it reduces the value of the car, and if so I would be a little reluctant to do so unless I had a way to replace them later. I know I can buy some 3M double-sided tape, but I doubt I could get the emblems back where they're supposed to be. Any tips or suggestions regarding this? Pictures of removed emblems are more than welcome as well, so far I've only found one car without them.

Al I can contribute to this is that i have removed all my alero emblems off the whole car. I dont want to make it easy for people to know what it is and just like the clean look.. But to put them back on would just find the strongest adhensive I could find, and do the best job possible to put it back on straight and not worry about it. Don't mention it when selling or trading the car.Because really what does emblems really have to do with the price of the car or how it runs/perform? to me all they are, are just another form of "stickers" on the car

the bumper one is recessed. so you'll need to fill the hole if you take it out.

the others can be removed, and when you buy new ones, they come with adhesive on the back...

Are you referring to the emblem on the front bumper? Or are there recessed ones on the back as well?
