Congratulations to MattismodderX
WTF, let me tell you, this guy its his first comp and he wins first place in Bass Race 120 to 129.9, and its not like he only beat me but 2 other guys that have been doing this allot longer. Even this guy http://www.termpro.com/asp/competito...009 &Method=1 He was dumbfounded.
http://dbdragracing.com/asp/official...ID=41967484 8
I on the other hand came in last in the 120 to 129.9 but I blew a 140.8 in street B, I was very happy to pass the 140 mark.

It's a competition to see who has the loudest sound systm, they do it like a race first one to reach the highest decibles wins.. I may be wrong but the sound guys will correct where I'm wrong.

[quote=Afugy;503562]Matt did you get a picture of the guy that you beat, 16 15", hand built Phoenix Gold amps, 20 year vet.QUOTE]
How were you two even in the same class? I'd figure he'd be in the 159.9 class? And that Clayton Entertainment truck was at the competition i was at in Canfield. Congrats Matt! I bet you're hooked now!
Nevermind... With that many competitiors, i see that it was only a 129.9 call-out type of deal. Cool in the same!

I bet! I went to one competition, about 30 car turnout. Watched two guys go at it in the 159.9 bass race class, it was nuts. But yeah one competition is all it takes! NEED MORE MONEY!!! Keep us updated as you go definitely! Not a ton of audio people on here...

I've never even seen that guy push over a 152, he build that truck something like 10 years or more ago and could just be babying it.
There was 4 people in the 129.9 class, after the comp we had a 129.9 winner take all 5$ per person and 8 people did that, I forgot who won. And then Clayton and Steve had a called each other out to bass race with the doors open so that was really cool. Steve with his doors open even only doing a 129 is crazy.
Anyway, seen how we do have a reasonable amount of people in this area we should start crashing shows with 4 or more Aleros, even cooler at team prodigy show because it makes xsavyor1 miss his Alero.

That sounds like a hella idea. But not until next summer, obviously. I need to get a new set of 15"s then i'll be good to go. Blew one the other day, so i'm probably only sitting in the high 130's... For the subwoofer manufactured in 1994, finally gave up on life... Anyways, i was wondering about that van because Steve Mick had this beast at the competition i was at and bass raced some other guy in the 159.9 class. He was world champion last year in bass race at 159.9.

I am not sure what happened this year, I'm not sure that this is even correct. I was told that he lost because his radio shut off in comp.
Shows in this area are always kick ass because of the big guys that aways show up and are always willing to help.
Mike Singer (I know Matt had a nice look chat with him), Vernon, Steve, just to name a few great guys!
I am going to end up building a better box, the boxes I have now are great but they where only meant to be used on their own not as a couple. Next box will also be tuned higher ,42hz, flared port and all that fun stuff. Hoping to get at least 3 more db but right now I am happy with my 140.8. Maybe add another amp and still be in Street B, that will make it 3000rms.
And Ryan that box that Matt got peeked at 29hz WTF, and hit 137, thats crazy for one 12 on 1000rms.
