What kind of scam is this?
I saw this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Oldsm...item518d1c8dc3
It doesn't look like one of those electric ones but it's definitely a scam. Anyone knows what the catch is?

Meaning it's so bad it could damage the engine? Has anyone ever reviewed this?

its not a scam, but you will still need turbo manifolds. by bad turbo pretty sure nate means doesn't flow a lot/ lots of turbo lag. it'll work til u can upgrade. but u will also still need to custom tune this setup, which will cost quite a bit more.

So with this and a hp tuner I can potentially get 50-70 hp. That seems to be a good bang for the buck. I don't feel like I need more power for now.
It says you could weld it to the stock manifold... is it true?

yep with hp tuners you should be able to go up about that with this turbo. yea if you know a really good welder he should be able to make you a manifold.

if this turbo is capable of making upwards of 400 horses and 20+ psi couldn't you get a lot more than a 50-70 horse increase? jus wondering

Jesus this kit is posted on every automotive forum I visit.
It's not a "kit," it's just a boatload of universal parts that aren't specifically designed for the car. You still need the most important parts. And all the parts in this "kit" are junk!
