Back for a short time
Hey guys i've been gone for a long while..just stopping in to tell everyone im getting rid of the HO shes been good but both wheel bearings are gone, all my tires are bald and the heat kicked out again (probably thermostat) anyways it will be a sad day when she goes considering it was my first ride and its been 5 years. im wondering if anyone needs anything off of it cause its going to the scrappers. Also i still have that high output alternator with a squeek in it i got from jackel wouldnt mind getting 20 bucks from it

I dont need parts or anything, but man, that sucks. I just my first car (00 Alero) a few weeks ago and just got done cleaning it up and fixing a water leak and am just about to get her on the road, dont even want to think about having to get rid of her. Maybe time to step up to an Intrigue or Aroura?

you do know that all tires go bald after a while, right? That's not even an issue..... Wheel bearings can be fixed, and so can the heating.

Another Alero is en route to be decommissioned. That will indeed be a very sad day.

Taking it to the scrap yard because it needs wheel bearings and tires?
Also a good way to test if it's the thermostat is.... look at the coolant temperature gauge. If it gets up to where it should after say... 15 mins of driving (right around the 1/2 mark)... it's not the thermostat. It's the heater control or the heater core.

Hmm... my tires were going bald, too. Guess I should have sold the car instead of wasting money on new tires, too, huh? Maybe when my wiper blades wear out I'll sell.
Geez.

Yo guys, instead of fixing this scratch on my door, I'm going to send it to the scrapper. Can't be effed with this piece of crap anymore!

I would consider buying it for 500, just to give Ninja a sister (albeit a much better looking sister). Depending on mileage of course.
Plus Ninja's about out of gas so i was thinking of scraping her

calm down everyone lol
The frame is twisted causing my wheels to be un-aligned causing my wheel bearings to go constently. my struts are gone and its like riding a hard board. my head light is smashed door panel is crushed and fender if f'd my tires have 2 cans of stop leak in them so rims and tires are done. its had its day i payed $6 000 for it 5 1/2 years ago when i was 17 and now have enough money to stop driving a 99 around and i have to drive to Florida in feb. Soooo there... i wouldnt just be scraping the car for no reason. Its a death trap.

how much for the 18's and do you have any pictures of them..... and for the alternator..... I guess it is for a 3400 but I would be able to make it work on my 2,4 by swapping case...
