audio amps output AC power. So no go there.

also, you do NOT want to wire anything to a remote line. No go there either.

you COULD wire them to the power and ground, but those will be "on" all the time.

depends on what kinda leds you want and where. but for the most part, your going to want to wire them into a distribution block (do you can do multiple leds from one power source) and then wire the distro block to a gray illumination wire, in the dash. They power the cubby lights. So they only receive power when your DRLs turn off, and high lights turn on.

There isn't any reason to have leds on during the day, you can't see them.

Just wire a relay to the remote wire, then run stuff off the relay.

It'll be on whenever the car (er, amp) is on.

Ehh. If he doesn't know how to wire leds, a relay will really confuse him.

Plus...there is no reason to have leds on during the day. Ever.

So to sum up what the gentlemen above me have said. Run the stuff off of a switched relay with the trigger (turning the relay on) for the relay coming from the amp turn on wire. That way they (LEDs) will be on when the car is running and the sound system turns on, plus you will be able to enable or disable them at any time. Although if you don't know how to do some wiring etc I would leave it alone. The more wires you have the more difficulty you will add.
