I have a different engine but I'm sure it's only held on by maybe a few screws or clips maybe even a hose clamp...Really simple man

there should be either bolts or screws that hold that on, i did it to my 2.4 its not really too hard just look for a clamp, loosen it up and see if there is anything holding the top of it on if not it should come off easily

The second intake would be better but really I don't think it would make much difference, and to get the tb cover off it's pretty much like a hoseclamp that is around the tb it's pretty simple.

i don't see any hoseclamp near the base of the cover... there are various tubes going into it, tho, and they ahve to be removed to take off the cover.
who has the cosmo intake? how did you get it off?
thanx

there really is a little clamp on the bottom of the plastic box. it's there. it connects it to the throttle body. so look around there. i used a flat head screw driver to loosen it. then pull up
