new to this
i dont own a alero but this site has helped me out with my brother inlaws car
just did the intake and head gasket and its almost done just have to put the steering pump alt and air box then flush radiator
the reason for rebuild is he used the wrong anti freeze and ate the gaskets
1? how do i get the old oil out before its said i pulled the oil plug out im wondering what to use to get the rest of it out my dad told me to put diesel fuel because it has oil in it has anyone ever done this

drain, fill it with fresh oil cheap of course, and idle for 20 minutes.. change and fill and drive for 500 miles, change and use good oil for 3,000 miles with a AC Delco PF52 filter

What Nate said.
You should have dumped gas down into the block and flushed the coolant when you had the heads off, if it is the 3.4L.

Welcome! good luck and hope you find the right answers to your questions! Ive never used diesel fuel in the oil, never even heard of it to be honest.

yeah, new stuff contains NO oil.. so idk where you got that idea
