Is the box sealed or ported?
What size is it- lets calculate air space.
TBH those speakers are not that great. I can get you a pair of speakers that are better all around for less.

Thats what I would recommend. You have the right power for them too.

Type-Rs are my go-to sub whenever I want pretty loud bass for cheap. In the right bow they get loud, and are pretty tough to blow up.
You should enjoy them.

Make sure you understand ohm loads before you hook anything up. With that cheap-o amp, anything under 4-ohms will fry it real fast... :/

Make sure you put in some sound deadening like dynamt or something 1st off. Hit the trunk lid and the flat piece facing our where the emblem is on the outside kinda where the license plate would be. I have that box pushing 500rms at 2ohms and it's good I would be careful running 4 ohms into em though. After looking I would say that's way way overpowered for them speakers lol. There 1000 watts peak I think for the box and like what 250 a piece?

Wtf? 4-ohms is a higher resistance that 2-ohms therefore your speakers would see theoretically more output at the lower load of 2. Good output, that depends on what your amplifier is built to perform at. Some amplifiers, especially down at that level are only rated at 2-ohms stereo and 4-ohms mono. When you drop the ohm load down to 2-ohms mono, due to wiring configuration as well as speaker selection, your amp will go *poof*. Don't spread stupid. Not trying to be mean, but there are already too many misinformed people when it comes to car audio.
And sound deadening... If you are running 500 watts, don't even worry about sound deadening. It would cost more to deaden it than the rest of your audio gear is worth... :/

The trunk lid will still rattle like a mofo! Just get a can of spray foam and throw on the lid. And agreed^^

True true. You will notice the piece that has the "Alero" letting on it on the trunk lid will give you a bit of rattle. Even off of 300rms. Do as pimp said and you should be fine. Once you start getting into a bit more sound pressure, then deadening might actually be a bit more of a priority. But, for now, that trunk trim piece would really be about it.
