Radio Bezel Picture Request
I was wondering for the people that put a screen in the radio bezel and then moved there single din stereo below if they could post some pictures of it and how they did it? Also if you modified the radio bezel like adding gauges and what not post those too please. I'm going to do something new to mine I'm just curious what others have done so far.

well thanks all for the compliments...
and here's the only build pic that I have...it really isn't tough at all to do...
I ordered a piece that has already 3 gauges holes from Z1 motorsport... (this piece is for a nissan 300zx to fill the centerspeaker hole in the console with gauges)
I trimmed my radiobezel and welded it with a soldering iron made for repairing bumper. I added some reinforcement in the back because the sides are now very thin.
Put some bondo made exactely for the plastics.. don't really remember the exact name but it is flexible ans made for the plastic. Shape and sand smooth starting by 40 up to 320 grain paper.
Filler primer sand 320 to 600 and finally 4 coats of trim black...
That way it look like it was factory made, because i'm not a fan of fiberglassed dash or painted dash....

haha I thought of using that same exact peice. But still want to see a screen with single din stereo and possibly if someone made a screen with single din stereo and gauges.

OOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Ha wow I thought that whole piece was like made of ONLY plastic, no filler or anything. The way you did it is real legit, much simpler than what I was trying to wrap my mind around

I can always get a spare bezel from a JY and practice with it first. If it doesn't work out right, then no biggie.

Alright well I have a spare bezel and an idea to put gauges under stereo so I'm looking into ways to custom fit same piece gui has. If it's easy enough then I may try to make more if theres interest. Though if anyone has done anything custom to there radio bezel and wants to add advice please do so. Reason for me doing this, I hate my a-pillar which will be for sale whenever I complete this.

Yep though I'm going to put it right under the stereo unlike your set-up but I have the same peices. Also where did you find the bondo for plastics? I like that idea better than fiberglass.

other pics hope it will help.. sorry no pics of the back, but you need to add some reinforcement, if not it will crack the first time you'll need to remove it.. and dont forget to tape the part in the middle that the control are you don't want to scratch it...
