Yep, it's like 3 or 4 inches after the cat in the pipe, and if you get a new downpipe made for a universal cat it would be no problem for them to weld a new one in.
However, with those prices, I'd recommend you get this instead, Magnaflow so you can trust the quality, all stainless, and it's a full downpipe complete with 3 bolt flange and O2 sensor bung. I have it on my car and I'm very pleased so far.
