Rough Idle with A/C ON

Ok, I have an 01 2.4l with 163k miles on it and it runs great... well until recently. If im sitting in park without my ac on my car idles smooth. if i turn on the ac in park u can feel it kick on but not much of a difference. But if i move the gear out of park and into drive or reverse it idles really rough... even to the point that my dash and steering wheel shakes. Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening?

Motor mount? Does it do this even without the AC?

Motor mount or, the motor is so carboned up in the idle air passage in the throttle body it can't compensate for the load.

one of my buddies told me motor mount but i wasnt sure so i thought id ask u guys. it doesnt do it with out the a/c unless ive parked on an incline and dont pull the parking brake

Had the same problem with mine and got it checked out today. Its the a/c compressor. Not to mention my motor and transmission mounts are shot...

Clean out Throttle Body and IAC. Mine did the same till I ran some seafoam through it... Now its smoooooooth.
