Sliverstars and Nighthawks

I've seen the commercials where it is advertised that they show brighter and wider, is this really true or is it a sales gimmick? I'm a bit skeptical on these lights, can someone show me a comparison of the regular lights vs sliverstars/nighthawks?

screw them both and buy some HID's as they work a million times better.

but if you were to buy a set get the nighthawks I find they work much better then the other ones ( aside from HID's ) but a set thats cheaper them both of them is napa truviews and last longer then them also...now if you were local to me id give you my set of truviews as I don't use them anymore since I have HID's

If I remember I'll take a pic tonight I have silverstar ultra in 1 headlight and a regular bulb in the other that should be a good comparison side by side.

Thanks, I've been always wondering about those lights vs ordinary headlights. I will probably put HID's soon then.
