3.4l V6 Engine Performance Specs

Does anyone know 0-60mph time and 5-60mph time? Any other specs are also appreciated. Thanks.

All I can remember is 7.9 sec for 0-60 per an internet site I used when first getting the car with a stock V6. HP fades thru time and use. Makes me think I should check mine now.

Actually, as cars break in, 0-60 etc. usually gets better. But high 7's is pretty close.

well then something is seriosuly wrong with my car cause im running in the 9's for 0-60, even the ram air grand am's only do it in 8 and they even have more power and torque than the normal 3400 v-6 engines... so idk something is wrong

My car does 0-60 in 8's and it has a slightly modded 4 banger 2.4 Twin Cam to be exact with a Auto Trans.

like i said something ,ust be terribly wrong with my car then... its only a 2001 but it only has 40,00 miles on it, not a whole lot for three years but still, i think something is really holding it back

maybe new spark plugs or a new air filter might help

Let's see. Any aftermarket rims? I seem to remember you talking about chrome 19's earlier. Big contributing factor there.

And anyway, how do you know you are running 9's? What was your timing methodology? What were the temperature and humidity conditions? What altitude are you at? All of these are BIG factors.

Tested mine in florida about 90% humidity on a track running a pnp upper/lower and tb. stock rims K&N cone WAI and my car was at about 65K miles it was running mid to high 7s for the 0-60....
