amp draining battery
i have my car all wired up for subs and all. and i have a switch in my car right beside the hood pop. i pull the wires off the switch when im not using it and for some reason my battery drains. so one day i got pissed off from always boosting it and took all the wires out.

is ur switch connected to ur thick power wire or your thin blue amp turn on wire? and do you have a factory or aftermarket head unit need more details
anyway with heres how it sould be wired up Aftermarket Radio... Blue Remote/ or Amp turn on wire (thin 18 awg) connected from headunit harness from amp and if you want the switch install it between here, Thick Power cable run directly to battery fused close to battey before the firewall, and ground connected to chassis.
Factory Radio... Thick Primary Ground and Power connected the same but, thin remote turn on wire connected to switched 12v accesory lead with switch still installed betwwen this wire and the amp

by crossover im assuming you mean line out converter, but that sould have nothing to do with your battery issue, what type of switch did you use? and did u hook it up correclly. take a multimeter to the terminals on the switch to make sure you have no continuty to the switch when its turned off
And for your line out converter you chould use a 2 chanel line out conveter and splice into the the corresponding wires as follows, and also ground the unit if the loc has a separate ground wire
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Yellow
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Blue
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Light Blue
