im looking for a place in town or online that i can buy parts for my intake..
i need 2 blue couplers and about a 4"section of polished tube... anyone know where i can find this stuff at? naich?/

Yea, I just buy stuff from Airflow Systems, but I posted the Sport Hoses one just in case he wants fancy colorful ones heheh. Of course, there are probably better deals out there. If you find any, post it here.

See if there is a rubber company or hose company around town. I found one here that had rubber that was reinforced with steel strands and it was the perfect size, but not the right color.

ya they got good prices on the boots, but there tubes are outrageous. so i figure ill buy the boots from them and the get a tube from air flow systems

yea, if you want alero WAI, you only need about 2" of tube with a 30-45 degree bend. i'll get pics of mine.
i cut the piece off of my CAI and my CAI still fits.

ya i made the mistake of buying my wai from ebay.
the coupler had a hole in it, and you need to use you stock tube off the t/b im not happy bout that.
besides with the hole in teh coupler i think its decreasing my gas mileage. dunno how but i think it is.

my coupler has two holes... you need them. lol
if you dont run that tube from somewhere in the intake path behind the MAF you're gonna be sucking in air that isnt accounted for from the MAF and risk the chance of running lean.

yes you need a hole. but im still running my stock tube by my t/b which has the sensors still in it, this hole is to big to put anything in.

just go on ebay and get a short ram.....its cheap, yet better than any PVC

ebay doesnt have crap.
these prices are decent anyhow. to do this the way i want is going to cost me another 20 bucks. wopdiedoo, with the hassle of ebay its not even worth it.
